Today’s Q & A is a response to a comment posted on a YouTube video of Dr. Lu discussing the power of the mind in creating your reality. You can watch the video here or at the end of this post.
Question: Are there limits to creating your own reality? Suppose I think of myself as four inches taller than I really am, then would I become taller?
Answer: There are no limits. However, you have to meet nature’s requirements.
Sometimes what we think we want isn’t what we need. You can want something, but if you don’t need it, you still can do it, but you have to reorganize, remodel all of your genetic code. It’s a requirement. Everything has requirements.
“You create your own reality” means when you meet the requirement of reality, reality exists. You can want this. But can you meet the requirements? Can you change your genetic code? Can you change your password? It is possible, you can download a new program. But in order to download this, you need to do something.
Creating your own reality doesn’t mean that you have an unlimited credit card, and you can go to the store and buy whatever you want. You can have an unlimited credit card, for example, but you still cannot buy a gun. You need a permit. You have to be 18 and have no criminal record. To get certain things you still have to meet the requirements; it’s not just that if you want it, you can get it.
At the spiritual level it’s infinite, all the possibility is there. But every possibility has a different requirement. You cannot say I want this, but I do not want to do the job. And on top of this, the job has to be done right. Otherwise it still doesn’t happen.
Question: I really want to change, but sometimes I don’t seem to want to change. What do I do in this kind of situation?
